Gotcha is a brilliant alternative to Nerf for those not quite old enough for airsoft but want something a little more grown-up. It is also brilliant for mixed ages and genders. Mum and dad can both have as much fun as the kids, without the sting of airsoft.
We also offer this for corporate events. It’s an equal opportunities sport, friendly fun for everyone.
Gotcha parties are brilliant fun for both the young and the young at heart. We play in our arena, which is based on a cheap hotel, consisting of eight rooms which contain a variety of items of furniture such as beds, chest of drawers, wardrobes, sofas and tables. Two marshalls take care of everyone, providing a quick safety briefing and placing everyone into two teams: red and blue. The play is fast-paced and fun with over 20 different game scenarios. We have fans and air-conditioning to keep the temperature down to playable levels even in the hottest weather.
We provide Gotcha guns, gotcha balls and safety glasses or full face masks if participants prefer. All participants must wear their safety glasses at all times whilst in the arena. Staff are DBS checked and there is always a first aid trained member of staff on-site at all times.
Parties are conducted in the following way:
It’s all about the gaming
A 2-hour party consists of;
A safety briefing, followed by splitting the group into red and blue teams, Gotcha gun demonstration and handing out safety glasses/masks.
Maximum number of players is 20.
After the safety briefing the remaining time is for playing in the arena with a short break in the middle for a quick drink, birthday cake candle blowing and singing “Happy Birthday”, which means the minimum amount of game play time is 1 hour 50 minutes. (For example if your party starts at 10:00 you will play through until 11:00, have a quick 10 minute break then back in the arena until 12pm, when you come out and go home).
Eye Protection are provided and must be worn at all times in the arena.
We are happy for you to bring in your own drinks for the party. Otherwise we can provide jugs of juice and have cold drinks and snacks, tea, coffee and hot chocolate available for purchase.
